Direto e reto é assim: o Jex Opolis fez um dos álbuns balearic mais legais do ano, so far. São nove músicas de uma vibe diurna construídas com camadas de synths melódicos, electrofunks letárgicos, eletrônica de beats oitentistas. Ravines segue os passos desse balearic moderno de nomes como Mark Barrot, Andras Fox, Project Pablo e A Vision Of Panorama. Wild Conceits, uma das minhas favoritas, é a faixa que abre o disco e dita o ritmo. LP todo lindo, essencial.

Straight to the point: Jex Opolis has made one of the coolest balearic albums of the year, so far. Ravines has nine daytime tunes built with layers of melodic synths, lethargic electrofunk sounds and some 80's beats. The album follows the path of this modern balearic music from the likes of Mark Barrot, Andras Fox, Project Pablo and A Vision Of Panorama. Wild Conceits, one of my favorites, is the opening track and the one that sets the tone. Brilliant album, essential!
