Talento é o nome do meio do Jex Opolis, um dos meus produtores favoritos do momento. Essa Earth Boy, primeiro single pelo selo Dekmantel, é puro ouro: camadas de synths melódicos sobre uma cama electro.

Talent is Jex Opolis’ middle name. He’s def one of my favorite producers at the moment. This Earth Boy, the first single out on Dekmantel label, is pure gold: layers of melodic synths over an electro piece.

Se você bate cartão nas festa do núcleo Mareh, já deve ter visto o Alex Pasternak dançando como se não houvesse amanhã, com um sorrisão no rosto. Alex é dj, produtor e um dos caras por trás da banda Lemonade, do Brooklyn. Essa faixa foi lançada em 2015 e agora tá sendo lançada num EP com uma versão extended. Além disso, ganhou remixes do Whatever/Whatever e do "man of the moment" Jex Opolis, que você ouve aqui. Verão chegou mais cedo!

This track, from Brooklyn's band Lemonade, was released back in 2015. Now it's getting a new extended version, which is coming out in a tasty EP with two brand new remixes from Whatever/Whatever and man of the moment Jex Opolis. It's summer time!

Direto e reto é assim: o Jex Opolis fez um dos álbuns balearic mais legais do ano, so far. São nove músicas de uma vibe diurna construídas com camadas de synths melódicos, electrofunks letárgicos, eletrônica de beats oitentistas. Ravines segue os passos desse balearic moderno de nomes como Mark Barrot, Andras Fox, Project Pablo e A Vision Of Panorama. Wild Conceits, uma das minhas favoritas, é a faixa que abre o disco e dita o ritmo. LP todo lindo, essencial.

Straight to the point: Jex Opolis has made one of the coolest balearic albums of the year, so far. Ravines has nine daytime tunes built with layers of melodic synths, lethargic electrofunk sounds and some 80's beats. The album follows the path of this modern balearic music from the likes of Mark Barrot, Andras Fox, Project Pablo and A Vision Of Panorama. Wild Conceits, one of my favorites, is the opening track and the one that sets the tone. Brilliant album, essential!

Esse ano terei a baita honra de fazer parte do line up do FESTIVAL MAREH, ao lado de peixes grandes como Joakim, Ray Mang, Eric Dunks, Lexx, Phil Mison e um monte de outros bons amigos. Você sabe, MAREH é um festival que acontece anualmente durante o período do reveillon em alguma praia paradisíaca desse Brasilzão. Esse ano, o festival invade Cumuruxatiba, no sul da Bahia. Enfim, essa nona edição de Sunny Disco é inspirada nas boas vibrações do festival e da virada do ano. Seleção eclética de músicas quentes de verão com uma certa dose extra de tempero brasileiro. I’m super excited to be part of MAREH FESTIVAL line up this year, alongside amazing djs like Joakim, Ray Mang, Eric Dunks, Lexx, Phil Mison and so many other friends. MAREH is a festival that will happens during Reveillon in Cumuruxatiba, a paradisiac beach in Bahia, Brazil. Eu conhecia o trabalho do Jex opolis pelos funks moderninhos bem baleáricos que ele produzia. Mas nesse EP pro selo Running Back, o maluco virou só Jex e pesou a mão geral. E olha que essa Harpa, um deep house forte com timbres ardidos nem é a mais porrada.
