Porra, 2016 foi um ano estranho pra caraleo. Cheio de tretas, retrocessos políticos e muita gente legal partindo dessa pra uma melhor. Então o que a gente fez? Se jogou na pista pra esquecer de tudo. E o que de melhor rolou na minha pista ano passado tá nesse já tradicional mix com as faixas favoritas lançadas em 2016. Disco, house, techno e algumas outras esquisitices para bater o cabelo bonito. Já faz tempo que essa mina justifica todo o hype que tá rolando em cima dela. Se tornou nos últimos anos uma das djs mais requisitadas em clubs, festas e festivais mundo afora. Talvez por conta dessa vida agitada, também fazia mais de dois anos que ela não lançava material próprio. Bom, He Is The Voice I Hear chegou agora e é uma faixa muuuito monstra! Levada disco com elementos de música clássica, que deixa a coisa bem grandiosa. E um pianinho que entra só depois dos sete minutos que é de matar de lindo. No calor das primeiras audições dá pra cravar uma das mais legais do ano. Black Madonna is the one i hear!
It's been a long time this woman justifies all the hype around her. In the last few years, she became one of the most booked djs in the best clubs and festivals around the world. Maybe because of this busy life, the last time she put out some original material was back in 2013. Well, wait is now over. He Is The Voice I Hear is between us and it is a monster of a track! Rolling disco vibe with some beautiful strings. And a kiiiiiller piano that comes in after seven minute. I would say it is already one of the coolest tracks of the year. A Robyn escolheu os produtores que ela mais gosta e reuniu num EP com remixes de faixas suas. Um desses produtores é a nossa Madonna negra, uma das djs/produtores mais legais do momento. Uma das favoritas aqui da casa, não é difícil dizer porque.
Merle - Mimi Likes 2 Dance
Hoje é meu aniversário e eu me dou de presente essa música. Música que, assim como eu, não nasceu hoje. É um clássico cult do finalzinho dos anos 90, criado por um dos membros do Virgo Four. A faixa ganhou uma reeditada e está sendo relançada pelo Stripped & Chewed, selo da gênia The Black Madonna. E se em 99 o tal do Merle a chamou de Fannie Likes 2 Dance, em 2015 a Fannie deu lugar à Mimi, afinal a fila andou, a namorada é outra. haha.
