You remember DJ Steve's story, right? That guy Tim Sweeney once met in a seaside city in Italy during his vacation and took him to play at his Beats In Space. In the show, DJ Steve could show some of the incredible edits he was famous for. Now, Love On The Rocks imprint called him to contribute with two more killer cuts. One of them is from the guy on the picture, the legendary brazilian musician Tim Maia. Cool!

For the third year, the super cool Stamp The Wax returns with their Advent Calendar, a project to raise money for charity. Everyday in december, a selected artist contribute with an exclusive track, which you can purchase by the amount of money you want to. Everything goes to The Steve Reid Foundation, an charity started by Gilles Peterson to support other musicians. The first track from the calendar it is a great classic edited by the hands of Midland. A ideia é juntar algumas das faixas mais legais lançando nos últimos doze meses pelo selo, e dar na mão dos próprios produtores da casa para serem remixadas. Os nomes mais legais do Heist estão lá: Adesse Versions, Natchbraker, Nebraska, Ouer, Fritz Wentink... E claro, o Detroit Swindle, que mandou ver em Wakee, do Obas Nenor. O álbum chama The Round Up III e está saindo agora.
Every year end, Heist imprint releases an album called The Round Up. The idea is to put together versions of some of the coolest tracks released by the label in the last twelve months. Of course, those tracks are remixed by the producers from Heist crew. Label's coolest names are there: Adesse Versions, Natchbraker, Nebraska, Ouer, Fritz Wentink ...
