Era o Ivan Conti, o Mamão, que é quem comanda as baquetas da lendária banda Azymuth. Renascidos com força nos últimos anos junto dessa retomada da disco brasileira, essa semana descobri que os caras tão de volta com single novo. Fênix (nome bem apropriado, aliás) segue numa toada deliciosa e veraneia de jazz com funk, como base pra um slap bass bem abusado. Saindo pelo selo Far Out Recordings. Foda!
Last week i was at a Jazz Festival, i wasn't looking at the stage but i could hear an amazing drummer, rocking the stage. That was Ivan Conti, the man who holds the drumsticks in the legendary band Azymuth. Because of the recovery of brazillian disco music, these guys kind of reborn in recent years. Now they are back with a brand new single called Fênix (a very appropriate name, by the way). Summery jazz funk mood with a bold slap bass. Coming out on Far Out Recordings imprint. Tip!
